He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Andrew Hennis, Jr. and Myrtle Foy Hennis; his son James Andrew Hennis; and his brother-in-law Donald H. Fallis. He is survived by: his children, Susan Hope Hennis of Plano, TX and Robert Miles Hennis of Plano, TX; his grandchildren, Natalie Marie Crowell Kidd, Andrea Lee Crowell Scott, John Michael Bodine and Tanner Miles Hennis; his great grandchildren, Madelyn Kidd, Zoey Kidd, Emmersyn Kidd, Luke Kidd, Andrew Scott, Jonah Scott and Bennett Scott; and his sisters, Suzanne Foy Hennis of Mt. Airy and Pam Hennis Fallis of Wilmington. He is also survived by one niece, two nephews, and two great-nephews.
Due to the current situation the family ask that everyone wear a mask and practice social distancing.
