He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Hawks and Stella Galyean Hawks; his wife Barbara Pilgram Hawks; his son Frank Hawks; and his siblings, Elsie Bryant, Mary Lou Moore, Maude Thompkins, Lelia Morris, Hazel York, Alice Hodges, Claude, Swanson, Raleigh and Mitchell Hawks.
He is survived by: his daughter Carol Thomas; his granddaughter Misti Fleming (Lee); and his great grandchildren, Caiden Doby, Liam Fleming and Ayvalee Fleming.
