She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Blackburn and Hettie Blackburn; her husband Fred Lester Lambert, Sr.; her son Fred Jr.; and her brothers, Ed Blackburn, Gene Blackburn and Donald Blackburn.
She is survived by: her daughter Arlette; her son-in-law Douglas Porter, Sr.; her son Jim of Mount Airy, NC; her daughter-in-law Mary Lambert of Mount Airy, NC; her grandchildren, Dr. Andrea Kittrell, Douglas Jr., Meghann Porter, Amanda Miller, Cornelia, Michael Rotjan, Luke, Jamie Lambert, Emily and Shane Dunlevy; her great grandchildren, Allie Kittrell, Anna Claire, Adam Vaughan, Elizabeth Kittrell, Will Kittrell, Cooper Porter, Coralee Porter, Waylon Lambert, Cade Lambert, RubyLynn Lambert, Malcolm Dunlevy, Ronan Dunlevy and Colman Dunlevy; and her siblings, Marilyn Ledford and Gilmer Blackburn (Martha).
