She was predeceased by: her father Lueyco Slate; her husband Johnnie Ernest Creed; her son Terry Creed; and her siblings, Betty Atkins, Bobby Alvin Slate, Howard Eugene Slate, Billy Gray Slate and Herbert Slate.

She is survived by: her daughter Judy; her son-in-law Ricky Easter; her grandchildren, Stewart, Angela Easter and Corey Easter; and her great grandchildren, Cole, Kaylan Easter and Courtney Easter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 1427 Edgewood Dr., Suite 101, Mt. Airy, NC 27030.
