The passing of Rosilyn Jeanette Thompson of Mount Airy, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 21, 2024 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lettie Reece and Bill Reece; her son Geter Tucker; and her husband Robert Henry Thompson. She is survived by: her sons, Robert Thompson, Gaylen Tucker and Tim Tucker (Kim); her stepsons, Mel Thompson (Myra) and Trent Thompson (Marlene); her siblings, Anna Laura Templeton, Guy Fleming (Christine) and Billy Reece (Barbara); and her grandchildren, Aaron Tucker, Corey Tucker and Aubree Thompson. She is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
