She was predeceased by: her parents, Crawford Walter and Ruth Martin Phillips; her grandparents, Payton, Lillie Brown Martin, Noah C. and Rosa McMillian Phillips; and her aunts and uncles, Barbara Martin Inman, Magaline Phillips Wade, Mildred Phillips, Troy Martin, Marvin Martin, Merlin Martin, Leroy Martin, Ivan Martin, Osler Martin and Douglas Martin.
She is survived by: her uncle Franklin (Annie Mae Martin) of Mount Airy; and her close friend Pastor Brent Carrick. She is also survived by many cousins and other relatives.
Respecting the current limitations of numbers for public gatherings at this time (COVID-19), a private graveside service will be held at Skyline Memory Gardens, with the Rev. Dean Eaton and Pastor Brent Carrick officiating.
