He is survived by: his wife Nancy Carpenter Mears; his daughters, Christy Haynes and Clara Mears (Stephen Hensley); his grandchildren, Brooklyn Mosley, Madison Mosley and Dakota Hensley; his sister Shellie; his brother-in-law Clade "Junior" Shelar; and his brothers, Teddy (Kay Mears) and Robert (Shirley Mears). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of special friends.
