He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Parish and Bernice Parish; his wife Nancy Parish; and his sister Lena Fay Willis.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home Dobson NC or Double Creek Church of Christ Cemetery Fund.
