He is survived by: his son Justin Slawter; and his siblings, Steve Slawter (Faye), Gray Slawter (Sandra Keener), Keith Slawter, Hilda Tope (Mike), Judy Cox, Debra Bryant (Larry), Tammie Castevens and Gaye Jones (Sammy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
