She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dexter and Eppie Sawyers Bowman; and her brothers, John Elton Bowman, Jackson Posey Bowman (Jake) and Harold Bowman.
She is survived by: her husband Elmo Hiatt; her son Dwayne; her daughter-in-law Marcie Hiatt; her daughter Shanda; her son-in-law Eric Holt; her grandchildren, Todd Hiatt (Nicki), Chad Hiatt (Diana), Anna Angel (Cameron) and Brooksie Lawson; her great grandchildren, Hunter, Henry Hiatt, Nathan Hiatt and Ivan Angel; her sister Vesta Puckett; and her sisters-in-law, Alene Bowman, Betty Bowman and Barbara Jean Bowman.
