She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Atkins and Sadie Dollyhigh Atkins; her son George Franklin Edwards, II; her husband George Franklin Edwards; her grandson Brandon Dale Edwards; and her siblings, Pansy Atkins Allen, Stella Atkins Marion, Melvin Atkins, Harvey Atkins and Chester Atkins.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Kubecka (John), Basil Edwards (Beverly), Jimmy Edwards (Deborah), Donna, Lorrie Horton (Jeff) and Danny Edwards (Melissa); and her siblings-in-law, Mildred Sparks, Lucy Wall, Ruth Hawks and Joel Edwards. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren.
