He is survived by: his wife Irene McCarther; his daughter Monifa McCarther of Kathleen McCarther; his siblings, Ina Elnora McCarther, Avis McCarther, Bernette McCarther and Clifton McCarther of Darius McCarther; his aunt Leona McCarther; and his stepmother Jettie H. McCarther. He is also survived by five grandchildren; one great-grandchildren.
