He is survived by: his wife Sina Elizabeth Lowe; his children, Rita Blankenship (David), Rosa Jones (Murphy), Carol Taylor (Joe), Misti Young (Darrell), Rev. Roger Bailey (Kathy) and Steve Bailey (Nellie); his grandchildren, Steven Blankenship (Anita), Patrick Blankenship (Denise), Leigh Ann King (Chris), Billy Jones (Bayleigh), Jessica Garner (Brian), Ashley Duggins (Daniel), Allison Bailey, Mary Adkins (Jared), Kayla Lewallen (Brandon), Emily Rook (Aaron), Stephen Young (Morgan), Codie, Shawn Early, Ron and Don Jones; and his brother Virgil Lowe.
