He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Jean McHone Creed; and his sisters, Hattie Lou Creed and Joann. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Creed Hurst; his son-in-law Wes Hurst; his daughter Sandy Creed Allen; his grandchildren, Holly Lauren Lanter (Taylor) and Zackary Marcus Allen; his great grandchild Rush Vernon Lanter; and his brothers, John Ralph Creed and Richard Hal Creed.
