Peggy June Goins Slate Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy June Goins Slate of Mount Airy, North Carolina, who passed away on December 18, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Rufus Roscoe O'Neal; her former husband Roy Goins, Sr.; her grandson Ryan Moncus; and her sister Verna O'Neal. She is survived by: her husband Don Slate; her children, Vicki Bledsoe (Mike), Cathy Williams, Renee Weddle (Randle), Roy Goins, Jr. (Angel) and Scotty Goins (Patti); and her brother Don O'Neal of Rock Hill, SC.. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC.
