She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade Bowman Venable, Sr. and Myrtle Simpson Venable; her husband Henry Allan Brintle; and her brother Wade Bowman Venable, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Brintle Handy (Harvey), Laura Brintle and Lyn Brintle Lyman; her grandchildren, Danny Lyons (Kim), Justin Handy, Lindsay Boyan (Justin Horne) and Walter Reginald "Reggie" Lyman, IV; her great grandchildren, Brett Lyons, Micah Lyons and Luke Lyons; and her brother-in-law Sam Brintle (Kathy).
