It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Pearl Creed of Mount Airy, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia, who passed away on March 28, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Jefferson and Mahala "Dillie" Smith Potts; her significant other Jesse Wilford Creed; and her siblings, Gertie Potts, Carrie Welborn, Ollie Key, Mammie Atkins, Minnie Mustin and Troy Potts.
She is survived by: her daughters, Louise Shelton (Wade) of Mount Airy and Geneva "G'neaver" Hutchens (Terry) of Pilot Mountain; her grandchildren, Delana Flynn (Richard) of Ararat, Patrina "Triner" Kayanek (Paul) of Pilot Mountain, Rekenna "Kenner" Holt (Timmy) of Pinnacle and Will Moore (Buffey) of Pinnacle; her stepgrandchildren, Trent Hutchens (Stephanie) of Dobson, Tim Hutchens (Alisha) of Pinnacle and Tray Hutchens (Gina) of Ararat; and her great grandchildren, Casey Flynn of Ararat, Suzanna Flynn of Ararat, Alexis Holt of Pinnacle, Cierra Holt of Pinnacle, Braiden, Hunter of Pilot Mountain and Calvin Sam Moore of Pinnacle. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to public health concerns, attendees are requested to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
