She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Watson and Vadie Lynch Watson; her sons, Billy Francis Jurney and Gary Matthew Jurney; and her sisters, Annie Watson McBride and Jean Watson Lindsay.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Dowell Mitchell; her daughter Sandra Elizabeth Tarn; her children-in-law, Mark and Virginia Marie Gilbert Jurney; her grandchildren, Nickeilah Tarn Waclawczyk, Taylor Nicole Tarn, Zachary Chad Jurney, Heather Cartrette and Dana Martinez; her great grandchildren, Rosie Cartrette and Brandon Martinez; and her sisters, Jeraldine Watson Midkiff and Wanda Watson Deatherage.
