Paul Riggs Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul Riggs (Mount Airy, North Carolina), born in Surry, Virginia, who passed away on July 7, 2019 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Coleman and Nellie Mathis Riggs; and his siblings, Estelle Hawks, Walter Riggs and Marvin Riggs.
He is survived by: his wife Loudene Wright Riggs; his children, Cynthia Leigh Riggs Coone (B. E.) of Asheville, Nancy Lynne Riggs Minor, Helen LuAnne Riggs Branson (Steven) of Asheville and William Paul Riggs, Jr. (Billy); his friend Bonnie Baldwin; his grandchildren, Jason Ryan Minor, Meredith Leigh Coone Lamm, Allyson Elizabeth Riggs Smith, Stephanie LuAnne Branson, Kelsey Taylor Riggs Trexler and Jessica Grace Branson Caudill; his nephew Roy Riggs (Becky); and his cousins, Sylvia Faw and Christine Vernon. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
