It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patricia Phillips of Mount Airy, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia, who passed away on November 3, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Neil Garnett Bowman and Linis Lois Lovill Bowman; her husband Johnnie Lee Nunn; and her siblings, Peggy Bobbitt, Frances McElfresh, Barbara Bowman, Herbert Bowman and James Edward "Tony" Bowman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy Vaughn (Mark Noonkester), Shannon (Charles Bingman), Dawn Loftis Jones and Barbara Ann (Kevin Barker). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
