She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Lester and Lessie Lowry Badgett; and her sister Joan Badgett Fulk. She is survived by: her children, F. Craig Meadows (Rhonda) of Riner, VA and Lori Meadows Marshall (Greg) of Mount Airy; her grandchildren, Ashley Meadows Foley (Forrest), Jennifer Meadows, Brad Meadows (Bre), Michaela Cook Ray (Philip), Caitlin Cook Simmons (Joseph) and William Marshall (Robert Marshall); and her great grandchildren, Wesley Ray, Franklin Meadows and Philip Meadows. She is also survived by several nephews and their spouses.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Mount Airy Christian Church (974 South Franklin Road, Mount Airy, NC 27030), Salvation Army (651 South South Street, Mount Airy, NC 27030) or Mountain Valley Hospice (401 Technology Lane, Suite 200; Mount Airy, NC 27030).
