With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia Hicks of Mount Airy, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia, who passed away on December 26, 2020 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Patricia Hicks to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Jessup and Mattie Rogers Neal; her husband Bobby Lee Hicks; her daughter Karen Leigh Hicks; and her siblings, Avis Neal Lambert, Geneva "Jackie" Neal Monday, June Neal Cooke, Mildred Neal Deatherage, Mattielene Neal, J. Ervin Neal, Thomas Graham Neal, Bernard Neal, Ted Ashley Neal, Erdman Neal and Joe Bill Neal.
She is survived by: her son Walter Neal; her daughter-in-law Lisa Hicks of East Bend; and her granddaughter Christina Dawn (Clay Baker) of Winston-Salem. She is also survived by great-grandson; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Due to public health concerns, attendees are requested to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
