With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Pansy Ann Atkins Allen of Mount Airy, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 2, 2024 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Atkins and Sadie Dollyhigh Atkins; her husband Glenn Edward Allen; and her siblings, Stella Marion, Harvey Atkins, Check Atkins and Melvin Atkins.
She is survived by: her sons, Tim Allen (Christine) and Eddie Allen (Melissa); her grandsons, David Allen (Brandi) and Sammy Allen (Carrie); her great grandchildren, Matthew Allen, Sadie Grace Allen and Addison Marie Allen; and her sister Faye Edwards.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moody Funeral Services (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Skyline Memory Gardens (432 Old Buck Shoals Rd, Mt Airy, NC 27030).
