She was predeceased by: her parents, John Cassell and Rhoda Gwynn McMillian; her husband Elbert Eugene "Gene" Collins; and her brothers, James John McMillian and Haskell McMillian.
She is survived by: her children, Jeannie (Frank Montgomery), Patty (Charles Montgomery), Randy (Dianne Collins), Danny (Misty Collins) and David (Crystal Collins); her grandson Christopher Smith; and her brother Chester McMillian. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
