He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Rufus and Cena Sutphin Jarrell; his wife Faye Davenport Jarrell; his children, Kay Jarrell Rogers and Norris Gray Jarrell, Jr.; and his siblings, Mildred Jarrell and Kester Thomas Jarrell.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Lori Jarrell, Jody Jarrell and Brian Rogers; his children-in-law, Judy Jarrell and Jimmy Rogers; and his sister Margaret Jarrell Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
