She is survived by: her parent Octavia Harris Gilley; her daughter Pat Houghton of Roanoke, VA; her son-in-law Charles W. Houghton of Roanoke, VA; her grandchildren, Bryan Wolfe, Lara Wolfe of New Glarus, WI, Jennifer W., Dave Thomason of Roanoke, VA, Tara W. and Matt Cruise of Dobson; her great grandchildren, Catherine Poston, Michael Wolfe, Morgan Wolfe, Isaac Wolfe, Jacob Myers, Avery Taylor, Abigail Smitherman and Cierra Smitherman; her siblings-in-law, Inez Gilley Simmons of Jonesville and Allene Williams Gilley of Mount Airy; her cousin Eva Sue Towe of Mount Airy; her friend Dolly Williams of Mount Airy; and also, Mildred George, John George of Kernersville and Jenice "Roxey" Bailey of Stokesdale. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
