With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nathaniel Mayes of Mount Airy, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia, who passed away on August 12, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Respecting the current limitations of numbers for public gatherings at this time (COVID-19), a private service will be held for the family, with military honors by the VFW Memorial Honor Guard.
