She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Jones and Eva Jones; her husband George Wayne Hayes; her daughters, Karen Hayes Bowlin and Susie Hayes Wright; her grandsons, Gerald Bowlin and Alan Wright; her siblings, Lorena Cruise and Carl Jones, Jr.; and her brothers-in-law, Paul Cruise and Kenneth White.
She is survived by: her daughter Sheila Hayes Ramey; her son-in-law Larry; her son George Hayes III; her daughter-in-law Nancy; her grandchildren, Amanda Wright, Zachary Ramey, Shannon Slate and Nathaniel Hayes; her great grandchildren, Luke Ramey, Adam Slate, Anna Ramey, Aliyah Sizemore, Adison Sizemore and Falisaty Simpson; and her sister Mary Jo Jones White.
