Michael Phillips Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 17, 2020, at the age of 64, Michael Phillips of Mount Airy, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonzo Franklin Phillips and Shelby Lee Nelson Steele; his sister Donna McDaniel; and his grandparents, Idle and Addie Lou Cain Phillips.

He is survived by: his wife Virginia Gail Brown Phillips; his children, Jesse Lee Phillips (Kendra), Addie Lee Phillips Russell (Jeff), Patricia Lynn Bolen (Chip) and Virginia Denise Bailey (Lesley); and his siblings, Kim Geddes, Greg Phillips, Todd Phillips and David Steele. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
