With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Lee Badgett of Mount Airy, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 8, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Badgett and Anna Ree Atkinson Badgett; his brother Joe Frank Badgett (Peggy); and his sister-in-law Betty Lou Marshall. He is survived by: his wife Mary Inez Beasley Badgett; his daughters, Kimberly Blackburn (Joey) and Ashley Fulk (David); his grandchildren, Savannah Blackburn, Nolan Blackburn, Blake Fulk and Nathanael Fulk; his brother Donald Badgett (Jean); and his sister-in-law Peggy Isabell Marshall.
