It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maude Morris (Mount Airy, North Carolina), who passed away on February 10, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Howard Victor Morris; her daughter Cora Ann Morris; her siblings, Hester McCreary, Juanita Bowman, Lettie Thomas, Josie Robinson, Roy, Troy, Dewey and Bill Willard; and her son-in-law Chris Crusenberry.
She is survived by: her parents, Meiggs Willard and Cora Westmoreland Willard; her children, Louise Crusenberry of Bristol, Martha Morgan (Kent Morgan) of Winston-Salem and Howard Morris, Jr. (Tamoney Morris) of Myrtle Beach; her granddaughters, Nora Morton (John Morton) of Goldsboro and Anna Nelson (Peter A. Nelson) of Bristol, Tennessee.; her great grandchildren, Martha, Mary, Matthew Morton and Peter C. Nelson; her stepgrandchildren, Brandon, Katie Hall, Dylan Hall and Bowen Ammons; and her sisters-in-law, Myrtle Morris and Margie Moseley. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
