Mattie Easter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 26, 2020, at the age of 90, Mattie Easter of Mount Airy, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Arlo and Savannah Elizabeth Martin Carter; her husband William Gilbert Easter; her siblings, Charlie Ray Carter, Billy Edward Carter, Johnny Howard Carter, Clyde Lane Carter, Eva Mae Carter and Essie Lee Easter (Ray); and her sisters-in-law, Thelma Carter and Nonnie Carter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth Ann and Ann Melaga (Randy); her granddaughters, Christa Burnette (Mike) and Angela Harold (Melissa Holder); her stepgranddaughter ReAnn Molinas (Micha); her great grandchildren, Asia Harold (Skyler Reep), Ty Harold and Claire Burnette; and her sister-in-law Barbara Lee Carter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family asks that all those attending, please wear face masks and practice social distancing. If not feeling well, or if running a fever, please refrain from attending, in order to aid in the prevention of the spread of COVID-19.
