We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2024, at the age of 87, Master John Robert Pierson of Mount Airy, North Carolina, born in Fulton, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin John Pierson and Gertrude Trevette Pierson; his grandsons, Paul Eugene Thomas, Jr. and Christopher Pierson; his great grandchild Nicholas Firth; and his siblings, Virginia Baker, Elean Pierson, Benjamin Pierson (Edward Pierson) and Brother Frank (Laura Turo).
He is survived by: his wife Rosemarie Cortese Pierson; his children, Kimberly (Greg Fox), Rosemarie (Tony Vest), Johnna (Scott Williams), Angela (James Murphy, Jr.), Sean Pierson of Westfield, NC and Patrick (Denise Pierson); and his close friend Roger Nichols. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren.
