She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Thomas and Mary Etta Turner Lester; her son Lester Wayne; her close friend Herbert Franklin; her grandchildren, Patience and Trinity; her great grandchildren, Christine, Emelei and Ailani; her grandmother Sarah B. Johnson Scales; and her children, Dub, Dan, Thom, Fay and Ann. She was also cherished by thirty-nine grandchildren; one-hundred twenty-five great-grandchildren; and twenty-two great-great-grandchildren.
