She was predeceased by: her father Talmadge Plato Lowe; her husband Thurmond Blaire Jarvis; her grandsons, Robert Blair Nations and Joe Frank Nations, Jr.; her great great grandchild Lucie Blaire Scearce; her siblings, Zella Lee Goings, Runelle Moran, Douglas Lowe, Decosta Lowe, Dillard Lowe, Crissie Lowe, Talmadge "Bill" Lowe and Franklin Lowe; and her son-in-law Joe Nations.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Ida Nations and Brenda Brindle (Robert); her grandchildren, Victoria Grey (Darren) and Paul Brindle (Rhonda); her great grandchildren, Nicole Grey Scearce, Laken Jade Brindle Shelton, Tyler, Kyley McKenna Brindle, Nicolas Darren Grey, Carrie Hawks, Corey Hawks and Colter Hawks; her great great grandchild Charleston Scearce; her sister Helen Bartley; and her sister-in-law Frankie Lowe. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
