With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marlie Hawks (Mount Airy, North Carolina), who passed away on September 4, 2018 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Edith Combs, Gracie Sechrist, Claucy Hawks, Arles Hawks, Edgar Hawks and Arthur Hawks.
He is survived by: his wife Bertie McMillian Hawks; his children-in-law, Elizabeth Ayers, Sherman Hawks, Laurie Hawks, Perry Hawks and Becky Hawks; his siblings-in-law, Launia Hawks of Ollie Hawks and Hermit Sechrist; and also, Tommy Ayers, Ruth Hawks, Elsie Gwyn, Bowman Gwyn, Bonnie Gwyn and Claude Gwyn. He is also survived by husband, father, and grandfather.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations may be made to Stokes County Hospice, 1570 NC 8 And 89 Hwy N, Danbury, NC 27016.
