He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Grady Elzavan, Elizabeth McHone Johnson, Arvie and Grace Carter Stewart. He is survived by: his parents, Grady Edward and Carol Stewart Johnson; his wife Christine Arbaugh Johnson; his children, Elizabeth Hicks, Sherri Grose (James), Jessica Bannister (Ian Huels), Jennifer Hall (Brett) and Austin Newman; and his brother Michael S. Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
