It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Gwyn (Mount Airy, North Carolina), born in Surry, Virginia, who passed away on June 14, 2019, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Creed and Mary Alice Hill Creed; her husband James Woodrow "Woody" Gwyn; and her brother Kyle Creed. She is survived by: her sons, Kevin (Teresa Gwyn) and Kenny (Janet Gwyn); her grandchildren, Bailey Gwyn, Emma Grace Gwyn, Adam, Jaimi Lawson, Melanie and Tripp Gallup; her great grandchildren, Mason Lawson, Maddox Lawson, Brielle Gallup and Kade Gallup; her brother Jerry; and her sister-in-law Crystal Creed.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home.
