She was predeceased by: her son Jay Mason; her siblings, Faye Hiatt, Rita Hiatt, Aura Akers, Juanita Lower, William Atkins (Bill) and Jay Atkins; and her granddaughter Allana Mae Mason.

She is survived by: her husband Herbert Alan Mason; and her children-in-law, Joey Mason, Marisa Mason, Adam Mason, Brenda Mason, Cheryl Hebert, Felix Hebert (Buzz), Michelle Jackson, David Jackson, Robin Fitzgibbons and Bobby Fitzgibbons.
