She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Ausburne Hardy and Ethard Hardy; her husband Charles Braxton Turpin; her son Charles Braxton Turpin Jr.; her son-in-law Claude Carr Cody IV; and her siblings, Frances Hardy Harris, Mildred Hardy Schmitz, Frieda Hardy Hughes Chauncey, Barbara Hardy Cloukey (Bobbie), Billie Hardy Bradley, Jack Gibson Hardy and Wade Melvin Hardy.
She is survived by: her daughter Anne Turpin Cody; and her grandchildren, Claude Carr Cody V (Alexandra), Braxton Turpin Cody (Alaina) and Catherine Anne Cody. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
