She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Roosevelt Pruitt and Minnie Lessie Fulk Pruitt; her husband Ellis Kirkman; her sons, Gary Ellis Kirkman and Timothy Dale Kirkman; and her siblings, Irene Pruitt Jessup, Lottie Pruitt Allen, Horace Pruitt, Wayne Pruitt and John Morace Pruitt.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda; her children-in-law, Gary Doss and Lavonda Bateman Kirkman; her grandson Justin Dale Kirkman (Abigail); her great grandchildren, Ella Rose Kirkman and Hunter Ellis Kirkman; her pet Rebel; her brother Stewart; and her sisters-in-law, Sandra Pruitt and Cheryl Pruitt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
