It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mabel Shaw of Mount Airy, North Carolina, born in Stokes, North Carolina, who passed away on December 5, 2020, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Snow and Myrtle Neal Pitzer; her husband James Herbert "Jimmy" Shaw; and her siblings, Mae Evelyn McCuen, Nancy Pitzer Thomas, Charles Neal Pitzer and Ned Thomas Pitzer.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Shaw Gardner of Mount Airy.
There will be no formal visitation due to COVID-19 concerns.
