It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Liza Lucille Whitaker Chandler (Mount Airy, North Carolina), who passed away on February 20, 2018, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Bowman; her son-in-law Joe Bowman; her son Mitch Freeman; her daughter-in-law Judy Freeman; her grandchildren, Tracie Hawks, Chris Hawks, Haley Bowman and Brian Waller; her great grandchildren, Morgan Waller, Chandler Hawks, Madison Waller, Carson Hawks and Tristan Waller; her siblings, Gladys Creed, Robert Whitaker and Claude Whitaker; her daughter Barbara Freeman; her husbands, William Claude Freeman and Clyde Hassell Chandler; and her siblings, Elizabeth Easter, Lillie Whitt, Ettie Mae Thomas, Carlyle Whitaker, Bill Whitaker, Woodrow Whitaker, Curtis Whitaker and Luther Whitaker. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
