She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Bennett and Vena Johnson Bennett; her husband James Matthew Jessup, Jr.; and her sister Faye Webb. She is survived by: her daughter Sonya; her son-in-law Milford Sawyers; her son James Mitchell; her daughter-in-law Sherrie Jessup; her grandchildren, Ryne Jessup, Jennifer Pardue (Tyler), Shannon Johnson (Daniel) and Kalyn Karpenko (Ken); and her great grandchildren, Emalyn Johnson, Jack Karpenko, Abel Johnson, Mac Henry Johnson, Asher Pardue and Isaac Pardue. She is also survived by grandmother, and great grandmother.
