She was predeceased by: her parents, Arless Hiatt and Mayola Marshall Hiatt; her husband Roger Irving Shaw; and her siblings, Pauline Hiatt, Josephine Jenkins, Timothy Hiatt and Lanford Hiatt.
She is survived by: her sons, Tony Shaw (Rhonda) of Salisbury and David Shaw of Gastonia; her granddaughter Nicole Moss (Chad) of Kannapolis; her great grandchild Corbin Moss of Kannapolis; and her brother Marvin Hiatt of Ararat, VA..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moody Funeral Services (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Skyline Memory Gardens (432 Old Buck Shoals Rd, Mt Airy, NC 27030).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC 27017.
