She was predeceased by: her parents, James Joseph and Emma Chandler Goins; her husband Andrew Jackson Barnett; and her brothers, Henry Lee Goins, Charlie Goins, Wilcher Goins, Donald Goins and Roy Goins.

She is survived by: her children, Linda (Wesley Wilkins), Isabelle (Tim Shores), Kelly (Michael Sutphin) and Jimmy Hicks (Mary) of Jacksonville, FL; her grandchildren, David Johnson, Christy Hicks, Shannon Brown, Jennifer Burton, Andrew Shores, Tom Allen Sutphin, Emma Oakes, Hannah Greer, Daniel Sutphin and Chip Wilkins; and her niece Elaine Goins. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
