With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leonard Wade Hawks of Mount Airy, North Carolina, who passed away on July 30, 2021 at the age of 61. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leonard Wade Hawks to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his father Loyd "L. H."; and his grandparents, Harlie "Dock", Annie Leonard Grey, Loyd Hugh Hawks, Sr. and Grace Leftwich Hawks.

He is survived by: his mother Helen Grey Hawks; his sister Cathy; his brother-in-law Bill Hull; his brother Hugh Hawks; and also, Will, Brea Hull, Adam and Amanda Hull. He is also survived by several great nephews, a great niece; aunts and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Flower Gap Primitive Baptist Church, Cemetery Fund, c/o Randy Leonard, 460 Fish Lake Rd., Cana, VA 24317. .
