With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lee Charles Kegley (Mount Airy, North Carolina), who passed away on November 24, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Lee and Claudia Higgins Kegley; his former wife Imogene Carrico Kegley; his wife Gertrude Frances Dickens Kegley; his sons, Dennis K. Kegley and Donald Lee Kegley; his son-in-law Steve Fields; his stepson Greg Stewart; and his siblings, Nell Miller, Lotus Burnette, Ray and Fred Kegley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Patsy Kegley Dalton and Trenna Kegley Fields; his stepdaughter-in-law Pat Stewart; and his siblings, Nannie Rose Jones, Earl M. (Joyce Kegley) and Kyle (Emmalene Kegley). He is also survived by three grandchildren; four step grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; six step great grandchildren.
