He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hamm and Hester Marshall Hamm; and his brother-in-law Jerry Mickey. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Hamm; his sister Gail Mickey; his uncle Leonard Hamm; his aunts, Margaret and Lucille Hamm; his nephew Jeffrey Mickey (Karyn); his great-nephew Macon Mickey; and his sisters-in-law, Nellie Bowman, Ruth Woods and Carolyn Hensley.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 4:45 PM at the same location.
