He was predeceased by: his wife Roberta Glenn Springthorpe; his parents, John Springthorpe, Sr. and Pansy Violet Jackson Springthorpe; and his grandson Michael Holden. He is survived by: his children, John Springthorpe, III (Karen), Bruce Springthorpe (Tammy), Celeste Tsaklis (John) and Dwight Springthorpe (Tami); and his sister Sarah Denmark of Cookeville, TN.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, and 3 step great-grandchildren.
